Do you ever wonder why sometimes you wake up in the morning feeling a little on the blue side but you don't know why? Here is a possible explanation: we dream about 2 hours every night. The dreams that we dream may be good or they could be bad. More often than not we wake up and can not remember our dreams. Let's say you have a bad dream and you wake up worried or sad. Now the problem is you can't remember the dream or even if you've dreamed at all. Our mind may hold on to the emotional outcome of a bad dream but not the dream details. So what do you do? Pray that God will give you a restful/ peaceful sleep. With God's help you will wake up more refreshed and with less anxiety.
I pray that God will help you rest. Our bodies go through a healing process when we sleep. When we don't sleep we don't heal properly. We need to learn to ask God for help in all areas of our life; including our precious sleep.
My dad is 79 years old. He is a good father although I wish we were closer. I know he loves me in his way and I'm thankful for his love. My mother died when I was 5 years old and my dad took over the role of mother and father. I have learned a lot from my dad and I am a better person for being his son. Happy Father's Day daddy.
I am the dad of two great children. They are the best and I love them so much and I'm very proud of them. They are both married to wonderful people and they both have beautiful baby girls. Being a grandpa is a new experience for me and I love it.
Being a father and grandfather is a tremendous responsibility. I pray that God will give me wisdom and good health so I can handle this responsibility in a way that is pleasing to him.

How did you do? The goal is to answer all the questions [YES]. There are more questions that could be asked but being a Christian means you follow Christ. You have accepted him as your savior. You will make mistakes. You will sin. It's because of what Christ did for us not because of what we do. Trust God in all things. Ask him for wisdom and forgiveness. Ask him to help you be the kind of person that is pleasing to him. Trust him!Trust him!Trust him!
I'm tired, I don't feel good, I'll do it later... Excuses get us into trouble. I learned a lesson a while back and often I need to take action on that lesson. The lesson: when we let go of ourself and concentrate on others we tend to be happier and less stressed. How can this be? If I'm tired how can doing more revive me? It's an act of unselfishness and it does make you feel better. Try it, it does work.

Mankind is getting smarter every day. Advances in science are taking the superior human race further and further into amazing leaps in dealing with health and social issues. Even with all of those advances we still fall so short of the ability of our creator God. For example, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is only 25% as effective as the heart beating on it's own. Mankind is getting smarter every day and there is nothing wrong with science but reliance on it to the point of trying to explain away God is risky and proves that intelligence has it's faults. God blesses us with knowledge but with increased knowledge comes increased responsibility.
..."For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48
If God blesses you with knowledge and certain abilities you have a responsibility to use it wisely and to use it for the glory of the creator.

In the book of John, Jesus asked Peter "do you love me?" three times. Peter was hurt that Jesus kept asking him the same question. We know that Peter denied Christ three times, so did he really love him? Yes he did but he allowed fear to take control so he failed Christ when things got rough. Are you willing to stand for Christ no matter what? What would cause you to turn your back on the Lord? Would fear or sin in your life? Jesus asks, "do you love me?" Yes Lord, but I'm very busy today. Jesus asks, "do you love me?" Yes Lord, but I'm a weak Christian. Jesus asks, "do you love me?" Yes Lord, but... It's time to get serious about the Lord.
